Circlet is a puzzle game inspired by Sudoku and Latin squares, but with a circular twist. It's the kind of game that fits between coffee and checking your emails, or while waiting for water to boil. Designed by Michael Mattioli in 2025.
Rules (4×4 Normal):
- Each ring must contain exactly one of each symbol: ▲, ●, ◆, and ★
- Each spoke (radial line) must contain exactly one of each symbol
- Each symbol must appear exactly twice on black cells and twice on white cells
How to Play:
- Four cells are pre-filled with patterned symbols to help you start
- Click empty cells to cycle through the available symbols
- Use the "Reset Puzzle" button to start over while keeping the same puzzle
- Use the "New Puzzle" button to generate a completely new challenge
Tips:
- Look for cells where only one symbol can fit based on the rules
- Check both rings and spokes as you place each symbol
- Remember the black/white balance requirement
- When stuck, try working backward from what symbols can't go in certain spots
Every puzzle has a unique solution that can be solved through logic alone - no guessing required!
